Nutrition for Sport Performance
Athletes are generally a health-conscious group of people. By working together, we reveal where improvements in your current nutrition habits can be made. You put the effort into training hard, compliment those hard efforts with adequate and proper fuel for the body. With an emphases on TRAIN > FUEL > RECOVER we determine how to fuel the day to day, fuel during training and fuel to maximize recovery.

Since I have been working with Brittany, I have learned a lot about energy balance, availability, and utilization. Nutrition for Youth (12-18yrs)
Youth is a precious time in an individual’s life. Athlete or non-athlete, this population can get caught up in the media or read mislead information about nutrition and health. Working with youth, we set a foundation for the future! What to look for in creating a healthy plate, selecting nourishing snacks and positive body image are all encompassed when working together. For athlete’s, we dive into the understanding of RED-S (Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport) to rule out the possibility of over training and under fuelling the body as the athlete strives for perfection in their given sport. RED-S is shown to lead to decreased performance overtime as a result of physiological imbalances within the body. Nutrition and weight management can be a sensitive topic to discuss with your child/athlete. Working with a nutritionist can lead to a prospering future in an uplifting environment.
